PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Lauri was introduced to the Children's Physio SA Hydrotherapy team at the end of 2022 as an Allied Health Assistant. He went to complete his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at University of South Australia in mid 2023 and has continued to work as a Physiotherapist as part of the Hydrotherapy team. He found his drive to work with children through his experiences during clinical placement at the Children's Physio SA.

After years of running in forests, roads and soccer fields, he chose to study Physiotherapy to find ways to support people achieving their goals and improving function. Lauri’s clinical interest areas of work are Autism Spectrum Disorder and development through functional play.

Outside of work, Lauri can be found running, gardening, building Lego or spending quality time with his small family and friends.
