Karen has been with Children’s Physio SA for 9 years, and is a co-owner of the practice. Graduating in 2003, she has worked exclusively in paediatric Physiotherapy for over 17 years, across both the public and private sectors. Karen has experience across all areas of paediatric Physiotherapy, with the most interest and experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy. She currently works at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in a Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist role, as well as at Children’s Physio SA. Karen is highly experienced in the management of developmental hip dysplasia, and in casting and splinting techniques for children. She is trained in Ponseti management of children with clubfeet, and travelled to Iowa in the USA, the home of this technique, in 2013 for additional training. Outside of the practice Karen is a mum of two little girls, and loves spending time with her family.
